Three days of festive shopping, Santa, music, children’s rides and time together in the place we call home.

Follow your festive curiosity through the village, from craft stalls to independent shops.

Bring your creations, gifts or festive flavours to The Spirit of Christmas. All pitches are outdoors, and the stall space is free.

  • Tell us what you’ll sell and which days suit you.

  • Have public liability insurance and a risk assessment ready.

Friday’s gathering is in Royal Square. Allow extra time on event days and follow local signs for access and parking.

What’s free?

Santa’s grotto and children’s presents are free on Saturday and Sunday, 10am–3pm. Stall pitches are also free, subject to application approval. Purchases and refreshments are extra; ride prices haven’t been announced.

Do we need to book to see Santa?

Booking arrangements and the grotto’s exact location are still to be confirmed. Check the latest WOW guide or contact us before making a special journey.

Can you help with accessibility?

Please contact David about your access needs. Arrangements can vary between activities and venues. The stall area is outdoors, so prepare for winter weather.

How do stall applications work?

Complete the stall application with your products, contact details, stall dimensions and safety information. You’ll receive an acknowledgement. We’ll review the application and get back to you; submitting it does not confirm a pitch.

Can our act or group take part?

We’d love to hear from singers, bands, choirs, dancers and entertainers. Register your act for Christmas, future events or both. Registration is free; performance fees, expenses and arrangements are agreed separately. We’ll review your details and get back to you.

What should we bring for an outdoor visit?

Wrap up warmly and choose footwear suitable for a winter stroll. Stall pitches are outdoors. Check the latest event information before setting off, and contact David if you need help planning your visit.
